How to Manipulate Field Objects in Crystal Reports

To manipulate objects in Report Designer, you may wonder how to get it done. Once you understand it, it’s a straightforward process, but getting to that point can be challenging. I tried doing it with VB.NET:

It involves some intricate work like casting (type conversion) to make properties accessible.

It seems that DirectCast is less resource-intensive than CType. You can find information about C# in the following page:

While it appears that you can’t vertically align text in the middle in Crystal Reports, this method might allow fine adjustments through the Location setting of the field.

Marriage Line

A short line found on the Mount of Mercury, the swelling just below the little finger, running from the outside of the little finger toward the ring finger. It expresses one’s fortune in regard to love and marriage.

If there is a long and distinct Marriage Line.

People with this type of line will be blessed with ideal marriage partners. If it appears on both hands, this fortune is even stronger. You’ll have a happy married life, free of problems.

However, if this line is broken, it is a predictor of some kind of trouble. But don’t despire — if you trust and cooperate with your partner you can overcome your difficulties.

If there are two parallel Marriage Lines.

This hints that two people will appear at the same time in your life. The bottom line will be the first person you meet, the top line the second. The line that is more distinct will be the one indication your future mate.

If they are both about the same, there is a good chance that you’ll be unable to decide whom to marry, and miss the chance altogether. In any case, what is important is honesty. If you try to set everything up to go your way, you are likely to choose the wrong person.

Yours could be a real Cinderella story, but it may gain you money and fame rather than the love of your partner. You’ll live in a splendid house, and will not want for anything. If the Marriage Line forms a complex pattern.

In the end. some of you may decide that freedom is the most attractive potion, remain unmarried all your life, and enjoy a number of affairs. No matter what age you are, you are blessed with partners, so you will not suffer from loneliness. People with this line tend to look on love as a kind of game. They avoid romance that looks hurtful, love triangles, and anything that requires sacrifice on their part.

Feeling Line

This line runs from below the middle finger toward the middle of the palm. It expresses the person’s emotions and perceptions.

If the feeling Line stops below the middle finger.

You are passionate and your actions are dictated by your emotions. You run both hot and cold, so you don’t stick with any one thing for long. But you are full of curiosity, and are always finding new things you want to do, the advantage of which is nourishment of a rich imagination.

You are positive and social, and it is always lively around you. But you can also be selfish, so watch it. If you try to think of things from the other person’s point of view, there should be no problem.

If the Feeling Line stops below between the index and middle fingers.

You are a deeply considerate person whi thinks about things from the other person’s point of view. People with this type of line are full of affection, and will be cherished by family and friends, lovers and spouses.

you dislike conflict and never say thins in the heat of the moment or act on a whim. Sometimes you may feel a bit borad by the ordinariness of your life, but you should realize that very ordinary life is the greatest happiness.
